Dredging
Many of our customers require the removal of solids and sludges from the bottom of settling cells, waste storage structures, and cooling ponds.
The advantage of our dredge is the ability to remove solids from storage cells without the need to dewater the cell and take it out of service during cleaning. The ability to accurately hold position and control it’s progress allows the dredge to work around sensitive installations and efficiently remove the solids.
Our cutterheads are custom designed to maximize their excavating ability and minimize disturbance of the solids into suspension. The hydraulically operated pumps efficiently transfer the excavated material from the bottom of the cell or structure to the shore via a floating pipeline.
Our dredges are also rigged for remote control service. With this our dredging technicians can perform their task from a safe distance when air quality is a safety issue.
